When it comes to strength, conditioning, flexibility, or sport-specific skill training, choosing the right trainer is key to your athlete's success. That's why ATR has carefully curated a list of the top five trainers in the 806-professionals we've researched, vetted, and personally recommend. In our opinion, these individuals are among the most experienced and knowledgeable in the area, and they're committed to helping athletes reach their full potential.

Jason Campbell JC's No Slack Fitness LLC

JC's No Slack Fitness started its journey in 2012. As a college basketball player, Jason quickly learned that strength and conditioning make up nearly 80% of his success on the court. His passion now is to pass on that knowledge-not just to help athletes excel in their sport, but more importantly, to help them build habits that lead to a healthier life long after their playing days are over.

Mason Bannavong Teamso1training

ree

Teamso1training launched in January of 2010. Mason has always believed in the incredible impact fitness can have on a person's life. Beyond physical health, it builds confidence, self-worth, and a sense of personal value. That kind of transformation is priceless-and it's what drove him to start this journey.

For Mason, it's about giving the athletes in our area a real shot at reaching the next level-whatever that may look like for them. Too often, it can feel like success is only possible if you're from a big city like Dallas, Houston, or Austin. His goal is to change that mindset. Amarillo has talent, and Amarillo deserves heroes-role models our youth can look up to and believe in. He's committed to helping create that right here in the 806.

Trainance Posey Sweatbox Athletic Skills Training

ree

Founded in 2015, what began as a simple effort to train his son quickly grew into a full-time mission fueled by word of mouth and community support. With a lifelong passion for sports and mentorship, Trainance saw a gap-so many talented young athletes lacked access to quality training and guidance. He felt called to be the person he wished he had during his own journey, someone who understands athletic development and genuinely cares about the individual behind the athlete.

Training local athletes means everything to Trainance. They are the heart of the community. His goal goes far beyond improving speed or strength-it's about building confidence, discipline, and life skills that stick with them long after the final whistle. Watching these young people grow both on and off the field is the most rewarding part of what he does.

Colby Williams Tipp Development

ree

Colby launched his business in 2019, right after finishing Junior College and preparing to continue his football journey at the Division I level with Utah Tech. His mission was clear from the start: to provide athletes in West Texas with the kind of coaching and mentorship that's often missing due to outdated methods or limited experience in the region. This calling wasn't just personal-it was spiritual. He believed God placed this responsibility on his heart; to give back to his community and help young athletes be seen, celebrated, and developed with purpose. His goal is to lead with integrity, principles, and faith-using football not just as game, but as a platform to showcase God's blessings and abilities through each athlete.

"Training local talent is more than a job; it's a blessing. I get to watch these kids grow up in real time, and I pray that one day Amarillo will be known not just as a place for great football-but for raising great young men and women."
